FAQs

  • For all inquiries, including general booking information, quotes, consultations, running ideas by me, etc. please fill out the form on the “Request Appointment” page. This form will tell me everything I need to know to be able to answer your questions and move forward with your ideas.

  • I take appointments Tuesdays through Saturdays. Appointments can start at 11am through 6pm. You can request certain dates and times and I will do my best to schedule you at those times but I cannot guarantee it. Fridays and Saturdays fill up the fastest and often have a waitlist.

I generally only book 2 months out at a time. Any further out leads to too many cancellations and reschedules.

  • My rate is $150 per hour with a one-hour or $150 minimum. This means that if your tattoo takes less than one hour to complete, it will be $150 no matter what. Tattoos that take more than hour are billed by the hour.

A $50 deposit is required to book an appointment. Your deposit will be deducted from your total.

Example: You paid $50 deposit. Your tattoo took 2 hours to complete. $150x2= $300, -$50, your total would be $250 on the day of your tattoo.

Tattoo time is only counted by needle in the skin time, I do not charge for the setup time, breaks, etc.

I can accept all major credit/debit cards, ApplePay, and cash. I do not accept Venmo or Zelle.

Once we agree on your appointment date, you will receive more information about how to pay the deposit and what to expect.

  • My studio is a safe space and a place of peace for my clients and for myself. For this reason there are a few things that are a hard no for me:

Any kind of harmful or hateful symbol

    Some religious imagery

Ideas that do not fit my skillset

There are also some placements and situations that I will decline:

I do not do finger tattoos

I do not tattoo groin areas, in particular on men

I also reserve the right to decline men entirely

I work alone and prioritize my safety, I will also say no if I get a weird feeling about you, the design, the placement, etc.

This is all in an effort to create a comfortable working environment for you and I.

  • With my rate being $150 an hour, and most tiny tattoos taking far less than that to complete, we can do multiple tiny tattoos in one hour session. Please fill out my form and let me know your different tiny tattoo ideas and I can give you a good idea how many of them we can get done in one hour.

  • You only need to submit a form one time if both pieces of art are the same and you both will be there at the same time. I will book your appointment as one, including just one deposit.

The cost will be determined by the tattoo design, size, and placement that you want. If they are small/simple enough to complete both in one hour, then one hour is all that is needed. I will let you know ahead of time a cost and time estimate.

If you’d like an appointment together but with different art, please specify in your form submission the different artwork and placements. You may submit one form for different art, just please let me know that it will not be the same art for both of you.

  • I do pop-ups every now and then in public spaces or private parties. I design a “flash” page of tiny tattoos at low prices for the specific event, usually themed to whatever the event might be.

I am open to doing these designs at a studio appointment at a later date but not at the low pop-up event price. These only make financial sense for me to do at the time of the event, in bulk. If you’d like a design from an event, it will be the standard $150 per hour. You can also do more than one tiny tattoo like I explained above. There is also the option to make changes to the design if we tattoo it at the studio later.

If you’d like to more information about booking me for a pop-up at your event, please email me sillylittlethingsink@gmail.com

  • Touch-ups are very normal. Don’t worry. They are especially normal for the type of fine-line tattoos that I primarily do. I will always make time for your touch up and it will always be complementary within a reasonable timeframe.

To avoid the need for a touch-up, please follow aftercare guidelines. Improper aftercare can be a major contributing factor to requiring a touch-up. Please remember that everyone is different, every skin is different, and everyone has different sensitivities. Not all tattoos heal the same on all bodies.

You may also still need a little touch-up even with perfect aftercare, don’t stress, I’ll take care of you

You do not need to fill out the form for a touch up, just reach out to me, email or DM and let me know, please also include a photo of the healed tattoo.

We need to wait a minimum of 4 weeks from the first tattoo to do the touch up.

Please keep in mind that tattoo inks lighten as they heal, your healed tattoo will never be as dark and crispy as the day it was done. That does not mean you need a touch up, that is just how tattoos heal.

  • You can absolutely use numbing cream. I am all for you doing whatever you need to do to be as comfortable as possible.

Do NOT use numbing creams that have more than 4% Lidocaine, and do NOT use any that have any Epinephrine at all. If products with these ingredients are used, it will change the way your skin responds to being tattooed, making the skin either too gummy to tattoo or too hard, and closed up too much to tattoo.

If this is how your skin is when we begin tattooing, I will have to stop and we will have to resume on a different date when your skin has returned to normal.

It is super important to read the ingredients carefully and to let me know that you have used a numbing cream.

If you’d like to use it, I ask that you purchase it yourself and research the brand and ingredients. This is not a regulated product and there are many, many formulas out there, not all are reputable and every skin has it’s different sensitivities. Please find one that would be best for you.

  • Yes you can. I ask that you limit it to just one, maybe two people if needed.

My studio is very small and feels crowded quickly.

Having too many people in the space can compromise my ability to keep a safe and clean working environment, as well as compromise my ability to concentrate on your tattoo.
